Too many political events

So I realized I can't keep up with all of these political events. I'll definitely be picky and write about the ones that I feel strongly about. In just the Osama incident alone, there's so much coverage. My mom was in Pakistan at the time and said that the people there feel like something shady is going on. For instance, the whole attack when they killed him took place only a few miles away from the army base, and they didn't know? And why didn't Pakistan government know when the US told them, 40 minutes after everything had already happened? In the words of Lupe Fiasco, "politrixery." Of course, he used the term to describe the issues that took place behind the release of his new album, Lasers. But I think it's pretty much applicable to world politics.

Another issue - did they use torture techniques to capture him? I personally believe that torture techniques such as water boarding should not be used on anyone, no matter what. I think they could have captured him just fine with their 8-month-plan they had going without using those techniques.

On another note, no one is paying attention to the way this event is impacting Pakistanis and Afghanis. They're scared, this is dangerous, and we need to understand their point of view. An interesting article I read, which was published just a few hours after the incident:
